2006 District 3/6 Playoff Standings



Ranking Formula :

As part of the agreement with District 6, District 3/6 will use the PIAA Ranking Formula. This is what was used in 2005.

Schedule Strength of Victoires:

We will display a schedule strength of victories column in our standings. This is simply the total points a team would end up with if they win the remainder of their games and their opponents don't win any more games. This is obviously impossible, but it does give some indication on who statistically has a better chance to end up with more points. This indicator in the beginning of the year will simply take into consideration the classification of the opponents. Teams strength of schedule changes as the year goes on, based on how their opponents fare. As the year goes on, this indicator will become closer to the possible points a team can end up with.
